As counsellors and psychotherapists, a crucial part of our role is to raise awareness of how unconscious biases support both individual and systemic oppression and marginalisation. We are all vulnerable to prejudice. Ace COURSES encourages its students and learners to own their own individual prejudices and to consider how they may be biased by recognising the importance of self-enquiry, personal feedback and continuing professional development.
If you do not fully meet the eligibility criteria for any of the courses on offer but feel you would be suitable for the course because you have other equivalent qualifications and / or experience relevant to your application; please request a recognition of prior learning form. We aim to provide a decision within 48 hours of receipt of your completed form and requirements accompanied by a nominal non-refundable administration payment to cover the cost of assessment.
