This CPCAB professional and Accredited Qualification is designed and delivered to provide candidates the underpinning knowledge, skills and competencies to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles. Progression will lead to the CPCAB Level 3 (CST-L3) Counselling Qualification. A balance of counselling theory, inclusive of Rogers (1957) Core Conditions, Egan's (2017) Skilled Helper and Borden (1983) Tasks, Bonds and Goals will aid developmental progress underpinned by ethical considerations in counselling practice. On successful completion, you will be offered progression for entry on to the Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3).
If you do not fully meet the eligibility criteria for any of the courses on offer but feel you would be suitable for the course because you have other equivalent qualifications and/or experience relevant to your application; please request a recognition of prior learning form. We aim to provide a decision within 48 hours of receipt of your completed form and requirements accompanied by a nominal non-refundable administration payment to cover the cost of assessment.
